If you want to learn how to invest in real estate but don't have time to go back to school, you're not alone. With a recent study showing that over 50% of 15-24-year-olds don’t even have a high school diploma, it's becoming more and more difficult for millennials to maintain their current careers without some pretty drastic changes. But guess what? It doesn't mean that our future is doomed! Sure, it might take longer than we'd like, but there are plenty of ways out there that can help us make the most out of our time in the workforce. One of these methods is investing in real estate.
One of the fastest ways to start learning how to invest in real estate is to watch Youtube real estate videos. The best thing about watching Youtube videos is that it's something that you can do as you're working or riding the subway. Plus, if you're like me and don't have much spare time, watching videos can be a great way of consuming information (as opposed to reading a blog or listening to a podcast).
In this article, we want to highlight some of my favorite real estate Youtubers and what they have done for me personally.
The first name that pops up on most peoples' lists is none other than Patrick Imbach. Maybe it's because he's the "go-to" real estate YouTuber in Canada or maybe it's because he's extremely down to earth and takes a nice approach to his videos, but for some reason, the guy goes far and wide for his viewers. What I love about Patrick is that through his videos, he talks about investing in real estate as if it was the same as buying a pair of shoes! Instead of talking through complicated math formulas, he explains things in layman terms so anyone can understand them.
Another great real estate Youtuber is Scott Hines. He's got a lot of great resources including a book, podcasts, and videos in which he talks about investing in real estate. Scott does so much for his viewers that it's hard to believe that he doesn't have any ghostwriters (I had to Google what "ghostwriters" are).
Next up is our personal favorite; Mr. Robert Brokamp. Rob has done so much for me personally that I can't thank him enough for helping me get started investing in real estate. Through his blog, he posts about so much more than just real estate and it's awesome to see someone who is willing to help tell it like it is.
Next, up, we'd like to talk about a real estate Youtuber that not only talks about Real Estate on YouTube real estate but also talks about networking, sales, business building, and advice for young entrepreneurs. It's none other than the one and only Shane Melaugh! What makes Shane so great is that he doesn't just do videos focusing on one topic. Instead, he incorporates many aspects of business into his videos in order to help his viewers grow theirs.
Shane isn't the only Tony Robbins protégé out there though. Jonathan Mead is just as good at teaching his viewers about real estate. He also talks about the importance of networking and how it can help you when trying to get ahead in life. There are many videos by Jonathan that we found to be very helpful.
The Rich Dad Channel- The Rich Dad Channel puts out a lot of high-quality content on investing in real estate on YouTube real estate. My favorite videos from the channel are the ones with Robert Kiyosaki and his son Ryan. They're some of the best real estate investing mentors because they've been true entrepreneurs for years now and have gone through all kinds of ups and downs while still managing to become successful at what they do.
The First Old Capital- Like The Rich Dad Channel, Ryan (Robert's son) also does videos on investing in real estate but he doesn't really give much information about it aside from showing a house that he just bought that is located in Las Vegas. He explains what he looks for in a house and that he likes to make deals with other investors. He also talks about how important it is to accept rejection if you're looking to buy a home so that you can get a good deal on the home.
The Mad Fientist- Mad Fientist not only does invest in real estate videos but they also talk about investing in the business, personal finance, investing, and more. What I love about Mad Fientist is his ability to speak from his heart about personal finance while still giving good advice on getting started in real estate. He's got the right balance between "rah-rah" and "don't Worry, be Happy.
The Investor's Field Guide- This is my last pick for this article. What we love about The Investor's Field Guide is that Brady and Ian don't just talk about real estate, they talk about everything else that goes along with it! How to get started, losing money, gaining money, and everything in between. Their videos are extremely helpful when it comes to investing in real estate and we highly recommend viewing at least one of them if you feel like you're not knowledgeable on the topic.
Conclusion-
There's a lot of great content out there about real estate investing, but we aim to only recommend the best content to your readers. So here are some of the most helpful and well-known Youtube channels from which you can get started investing in real estate.
